A new Christmas Tradition

Hunt for your perfect tree and cut it yourself if you'd like, ride in a horse drawn wagon, visit with "Eco Santa" shop at the local craft fair, and decide on the 12" decorated wreath for your door while you make great memories for your family of two or five. Return "home" to Carlson's Lodge where you can relax by the fire, play board games, shoot a game of pool, or return to your room for quiet relaxation. Then, for the youngster in everyone a visit to Santa's Village* will complete the weekend. Or maybe a day on the slopes at Bretton Woods* or a walk along the river will invigorate you. Join us in and around Bethehem for a very special "Bethlehem Christmas".
HERITAGE SOCIETY EVENTS: The Heritage Society will hold an Open House with Santa Claus, Slide Presentations and Memory Tree Lighting as follows:
  • Dec. 6th. Saturday, Open House at the Museum, Main St. Santa will be at the Heritage Center from 11 AM to 4 PM. Pictures available with Santa.
  • Gift Shoppe at the Heritage Center will be open both weekends.
  • Dec. 6th, 13th, Saturday, 11 AM - Heritage Homes and Cottage Slide Presentation at the Durrell Methodist Church prior to House Tours. The program will highlight the homes on the tour - $10 for a self guided tour. Stonecrest Manor added this year.
  • Dec. 7th, Sunday. Museum open for tours.
  • Dec. 13th, Saturday. Open House at the Museum. Santa will be in house from 11 AM to 4 PM. Pictures available with Santa.
  • Dec. 13th, Saturday. 6:30 PM - Memory and Veteran's Tree Lighting Ceremony. Memory Tree located across from the Town Building. Names can be submitted to the Bethlehem Heritage Society, P.O. Box 148, Bethlehem, NH, 03574 - $2.00 donation per name.

A "Spooktacular" Halloween Adventure

Kid friendly spookiness by day and scary by night excitement for teens and adults is waiting for you at Six Gun City's Ghost Town. On each Friday - Sunday in October, the Ghost Town will be open to give you Halloween thrills. Arrive after 3 on your first day and get a second day at your leisure. One night for a family of four in a standard room with two double beds is $164 while a queen size or two doubles room for two is just $124. Add a second night for $79. Enjoy the last of summer!

Now's the time to jump in your car & head for the mountains. Rooms with 2 queen beds are still open for Saturday & Sunday nights. Play at Lancaster Fair (open thru Monday), listen to Jonathan Edwards at the Colonial (Sat. at 8 PM), watch the "Best of the Season" at the Weathervane Theatre (Sat. at 2 or 8 PM), or visit our great White Mt. Attractions ~ (fees required for events & attractions).
Kick back at a free concert in Twin on Saturday or in Bethlehem on Sunday night.
Add hiking, relaxing, or visiting the Twin Mountain Wildlife Center for a great day at Carlson's!
At the Lodge you can shoot a game of pool or try your hand at ping pong. Free wireless too.
